Drug Take-Back Box
A new drug deactivation bag called 'Deterra' uses carbon to break down the drugs, rendering them inert and making disposal at home safe and simple.
As prescription drug abuse increases in our communities, its become as important as ever to safely and responsibly dispose of unused prescription medications.
And due to environmental pollution concerns, it is no longer safe to dispose of these drugs down the drain.
That means the responsibility is on the owner to dispose these drugs at drug take back programs, or risk leaving them in medicine cabinets where children & teens can often get to them.
Dispose of unused and expired by taking them to a Drug Take-Back Box at one of the following locations:
*Belgrade City Hall/Police Department
Bozeman Health Highland Park Pharmacy
*Bozeman Police Department Substation
CVS Pharmacy - Bozeman
Gallatin County Law and Justice Center
*Manhattan Police Department
*Montana State University Police Department
